Well folks, here he is! Brayden was born June 24, 2009 at 12:37p.m. He was 7 pounds, 7 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He was very stubborn and didn't want to come out, apparantly he was comfy in there. He's almost a month old now and he's just so cute I can't stand it! He does cry alot because he likes to be held and he eats what seems like every 20 minutes, lol! But other than that, he's just perfect and we love him so much. Audrey loves having a little brother around and Hailey has taken to him pretty well. Sometimes she waves at him and gives him kisses and other times, she slaps him in the face and tries to dig his eyes out of his head. (We're working on the behavior...) Here's some recent pictures of our boy and I'll try to update this more often with his photos.

So here it is. It's been about 4 months since I've updated the good 'ol blog. I'm just not good at this. I'm great about updating facebook, like daily, but this is trickier. I still don't get it all and it's just not as cool as facebook. Anywhoooo..... baby #3 is almost here. Brayden Scott Hawes will be born June 24, 2009. WOOT WOOT! I'm so excited to NOT be pregnant anymore. Not so sure I'm ready for another baby, but I guess I will figure it out somehow. "Other people have done it", bla bla. I've heard that alot, and guess what... I'M NOT THEM! This is definitley going to be a challenge for me but I know after a while, it will become second nature. Other than that, we've just begun our summer vacation. Audrey just wrapped up 1st grade and dance for the year. She did great too. On to 2nd grade next year, which she is very much looking forward too. She's already spent most of this week practicing in her 2nd grade workbooks. She loves learning, guess I'll enjoy that while it lasts! Hailey is 18 months, yet doesn't look a day over 12 months, lol! She's tiny but healthy. She's so cute with all the new things she's learning. The only thing that's not cute is the attitude that she's developed along the way. She used to be so sweet, but latley she has taken a turn towards the "terrible two's". Lovely! I just hope she loves her baby brother and cuts me some slack, haha! For now, that's about it. I'll try and update this sooner than later - at least with some pictures of the new baby after next week! (Below is me - 37 weeks preggers)

A long, long time ago

Wow, I just realized that it's been a VERY long time since I've updated this thing. To be quite honest, I forgot I even had it till I looked at my facebook and realized that I have this link posted on there. So, here it goes..... last time we "talked", Jesse and I were having great times with our 2 daughters. Well, now we're preparing for the arrival of our first SON! That's right, we're having another baby and it's a boy!! :) He is due July 5th, but I will be having a c-section at the end of June. His name is Brayden Scott Hawes and we're soooooo excited to meet him. Although, we are not looking forward to the next few months flying by because we have alot of preparing to do before he comes home. Ummm, other than that things are pretty much the same. Audrey has lost alot more teeth and she is thriving in 1st grade. Hailey started walking and that in itself is just funny to watch, I can't get enough! The dogs are both doing good and Stevie and gotten alot better with his behavior. Check out the new pictures below.

And I'm doing nothing, lol! Jesse and Scott are watching college football (yay), and Audrey is having a sleepover. I suppose I could be folding laundry, but hey, if the husband gets the weekend off, then so do I! :) So, we had family pictures done today and I'm sooooo excited to see them! We went to the prettiest apple orchard ever and there are some really good ones. As soon as I get them, I will post them on here. For now, I will just post some pics from Jared and Mary Ann's trip here last month. It was a blast and I'm so sad that they had to leave! :( Hopefully we will see them sooner than later!

I will update this because I'm sick of hearing Mary Ann's crap, lol. Just kidding. I should update this anyways. Big things ahead in the next week. Lots o' fam coming into town. Should be good fun. Except that I AM NOT going to the Women's Broadcast - just not gonna happen! The End.

Ahhhhh... summer, I LOVE IT!! Almost everyday I take the kids to the pool and we have so much fun! We're all looking pretty tan and Audrey and I are working on our blonde! Swimming for a few hours tires the kids out and gives me some time to relax with Hailey and my girlfriends if they meet us up there that day. It's so nice and I'm going to be very sad when summer is over! :(

I'm really bad at updating these types of things, but I'm really going to try this one! But first, I must scarf down the rest of my peanut butter and jelly so I can get to the mall, Costco and get these girls to the pool! YAY!
